The design

Hand Injury Prevention in the Workplace– a simulation to experience what could happen to hands in risk situations and without proper PPE.

  1. The aim is to provide the trainer with a series of exercises or tasks in which risk situations related to hand care are depicted. The product is aimed at production and maintenance personnel.
  2. The trainee has to make the right decisions to complete a procedure correctly.
  3. All actions performed by the learner will require the use of hands. In case of poor decision making, an accident involving the hands will occur and its consequences will be visualized.
  4. This product includes risks related to the use of PPE and hand tools.
  5. The first scenario includes a maintenance workshop environment in the metal industry.
  6. Included risk situations:
    1. Use of defective tools
    2. Changing a radial disc
    3. Using a pillar drill without protection
    4. Burn during welding
    5. Cleaning of workshop
